Demos
The Tenth Asian Conference on Computer Vision 2010 (ACCV2010) will include a demo session, where conference participants can demonstrate 'live' their contributions to computer vision technologies and applications.
Both research prototypes as well as commercial products are very welcome. Prototypes may be associated with papers that appear in the main conference but need not be. However, it is worth emphasizing that the demos session is not intended as a forum for marketing or sales of products. Presenters are expected to understand the system being demonstrated in detail and be able to explain the technical intricacies of the system to people attending ACCV2010.
Submissions
Due Date 27th August
A demonstration submission requires only an extended abstract of (max) 2 pages that gives a technical description of the proposed demo as well as special requirements (other than a demo booth/table). The general format of the extended abstract should follow that of main conference articles. For details, please refer to the ACCV submissions page. Accepted demos will have their abstracts made available to ACCV2010 attendees.
If possible, please submit a link to supporting materials, such as videos, which illustrate the proposed demonstrations. It is essential that at least one of the demo presenters registers for the conference.
ACCV2010 will provide a table and two chairs for each demo as well as power supply and a board for mounting a name and brief description of your demo. If you have special requirements please contact one of the demo chairs Alan McKinnon ( mckinnon@lincoln.ac.nz ) or Kenji Irie (iriek@lvl.co.nz).
Submission instructions:
- Please email your extended abstract to: Alan McKinnon (mckinnon@lincoln.ac.nz) or Kenji Irie (iriek@lvl.co.nz)
- Please provide a link for any materials supporting your abstract e.g., videos.
Notification of acceptance: You will be notified of acceptance of your demonstration by 10th September.
